It was a great value. Fabulous location, and really charming property, clean fresh and with helpful staff loved the fire pits out in the gardens.

The staff was really welcoming and helpful. The location was very central and the room spacious and really nicely set up and decorated. Everything was provided even water bottles.

The Monterey Bay Lodge was a sweet property with conversation areas in the grounds with beautiful trees and plants. I liked the patio area at the back of each room. The pool and hot tub were beautiful but unavailable at the time of our reservation.

It was close to main highway and a short walk to town centre. Receptionist was only member of staff we met. It was also close to the beach.

The room was clean and had all we needed. Our room opened to the courtyard with couches and a fire pit. Inside we enjoyed a gas fireplace and the extra large tv. Loved the easy walk to the beach.

I liked the room...until they did construction on the room next door early in the morning while we were staying two nights. Our toilet stopped working same morning. Told us they could move us to a downgraded room in the pouring rain. Then was told I would get compensated and didn't.

Nice hotel for the money. Ignore the fact that it's a 2 star hotel. That's only because they don't have fancy amenities like a restaurant or breakfast.

Property is in motel format which I was not aware of when booking. However it is clean and kept well. I only met one member of staff who was the girl at check in and check out. I can’t say much else except it was good price and provided a room for the night on our travel

This was a last minute emergency booking. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and good facilities. The reception staff were exceptional and really helped us out in an emergency. This is a well located and comfortable place to stay in Monterey

Excellent staff, with great tips about Monterey, its bay, aquarium, the 17-mile drive and more. Although we had a good idea of what we wanted to do, front-desk staff gave us those essential pointers that locals would know about. The room was very comfortable, with parking directly in front. Supremely clean, with a generous bed, bathroom and a gigantic TV on the wall. Very well located, right by Monterey.
